Overview
The goal of this tutorial is to create an environment to learn and experiment using a “IBM Mainframe” system.
The MVS-TK5 system uses very old versions of the IBM OS, the JCL, and the COBOL complier.
While it is true that COBOL programs that will run on this system will “probably run without modification” on a newer version, the reverse is NOT true.
This will be more of a “cheatsheet” than an explict guide.
You may have to do some additional research to execute this correctly.
